Overview
Monk is a flexible melee-caster hybrid that builds Harmony with Builder Spells and converts it into burst damage or powerful healing with Spender Spells. You can swap between three Virtue states to adapt to solo, party, damage, or support play.
Elemental Bound
Monk fist weapons carry an elemental bound: physical, fire, or energy. Many Monk spells inherit the weapon’s bound as their damage type.
Virtue States
The three Virtue states are powerful enhancements. Only one can be active at a time.
1. Virtue of Justice utito virtu
15% more fist fighting skill (or 30% total when Serene is active).
2. Virtue of Harmony utori virtu
Increases damage of Spender Spells by 4% (or 8% total when Serene is active). Additionally, spending Harmony refunds 1 Harmony.
3. Virtue of Sustain utura tio
Increases healing done by all Healing Spells by 35% (or 70% total when Serene is active).
Harmony
Harmony powers your Spender Spells. Builders adds Harmony and Spenders consumes it. Maximum Harmony is 5.
- Builders: typically grant +1 Harmony on cast.
- Focus Harmony (utevo nia): instantly grants +5 Harmony (ML 45).
- Spenders: consumes Harmony, often all at once, for big effects.
- 1 Harmony: 8% damage increase for Spender Spells
- 2 Harmony: 16% damage increase for Spender Spells
- 3 Harmony: 32% damage increase for Spender Spells
- 4 Harmony: 64% damage increase for Spender Spells
- 5 Harmony: 128% damage increase for Spender Spells
Spender Spells: "Devastating Knockout", "Greater Tiger Clash", "Mass Spirit Mend", "Spiritual Outburst", "Sweeping Takedown", "Tiger Clash"<
Serene
Serene is a powerful state of the Monk, it is passive and almost always active, unless you are in party AND boxing (6 or more monsters around you). Manually activate Serene if you do not meet the confitions, you can use utamo tio, casting Focus Serene also resets the cooldown of all your spells.
When Serene is active you get the following benefits:
- Virtue of Sustain: 35% increased spell healing (70% total)
- Virtue of Justice: 15% increased fist fighting (30% total)
- Virtue of Harmony: 4% increased spell damage (8% total)

Tips
- Open with Focus Harmony to reach 5 Harmony, then spend with a strong Spender (Devastating Knockout single-target, Sweeping Takedown for packs).
- Swap Virtue depending on content: Harmony for damage, Justice for party sustain, Sustain for healing-focused play.
- Avoid sitting capped at 5 Harmony; convert regularly to prevent overcapping.
- Match your weapon’s elemental bound to enemy weaknesses when possible.
